I have found it totally impossiblke to get any assistance from this bunch!

Their forums seem the only way to look for advice and/or help!

I hate 'em!!

Oooooops, yeh, meant it to be Lavasoft!!

Good guess Angelize!!

I sent three emails to them, hammered their support forums and not a word....

I did get onto a forum moderator in New Zealand who said to forget any idea of Lavasoft providing tech support - just doesn't exist!!

Shame as I have found Ad-Aware to be quite a good product!!

Now why would a company, supplying a good product for FREE, not have good tech support?!

What are we paying them for! . . . oh, wait.

Very true...

If you are willing to pay for your spyware I recommend Spyware Doctor.

That's odd you would recommend Spyware Doctor nod32.
I find Nod32 (y) to be an excellent product for stopping spyware being downloaded on my computer.

Don't get me wrong, NOD32 is excellent at catching malware (including spyware). For users that already have an AV program and are looking for a good spyware removal program Spyware Doctor is pretty solid. For users that already have NOD32 I always encourage to have a secondary spyware removal tool for the following reasons.

#1 - NOD32 is compatible with just about all the spyware removal programs out there.

#2 - No program can detect or remove 100% of malware out there.

#3 - For the most part you can have more than one spyware removal utility installed without experiencing compatibility issues.

I have the purchased version of Ad-Aware 2007 but the real time monitoring function doesn't want to work! (I had SE Professional for a licence period of three years and got the upgrade free) I am just starting to think that even though I have the upgraded version that the real time monitoring is not available?

I'd be a bit peeved if this is so as SE Pro had this feature for my money so maybe I have downgraded in the process?

I click on the 2007 Ad-Watch icon and nothing happens ...........or I try to do likewise from the Ad-Watch main menu but still no joy!

The main menu keeps teling me that "Real Time Monitoring is off"

Am I missing a step here somewhere?

Have sent three emails to Lavasoft but (no surprise) no replies!!

I've used Ad Aware for years. I paid for it. I've never really had much problems - Thank God! ..because I have NEVER once been able to get in touch with anybody!

It's really ashame because it's good software. I know language is an isssue, I believe they're Swedish, but come on!

Best to all,
Betrock
