is Linksys "SpeedBooster" technology on wireless equipment worth the extra $$?

it's on their routers and wireless cards. it claims to make your connection go faster or whatever. does it work?:)

Maybe, maybe not. I would personally go with N routers. All the SpeedBooster does is use frame compression, which allows for more data to be sent per packet, but not really a speed increase. But yes, it has shown to increase speed for G clients up to 10% or so.
