I had something unusual happen yesterday, a few pop ups appeared (I normally get none at all). They have not reappeared, but I'm wanting to be sure I'm clean (if I am!). I've run Adaware and Spybot S&D, I keep Norton up-to-date always, and I use WinPatrol to help me keep things from loading into startup. I've attached my Hijack This log. I'm wondering about a couple of entries: specifically the running process: C:\WINDOWS\System32\CTsvcCDA.exe, and the 016 entries "http://ccon.futuremark.com/global/msc34.cab" and "http://207.188.7.150/318f0078866eb37b9d15/netzip/RdxIE601.cab". Can someone take a look at let me know if I'm OK. Thanks!!

Hi stampede

This line refers to Creative Service for CDROM Access
C:\WINDOWS\System32\CTsvcCDA.exe

This line refers to Microsoft Game Advisor?
O16-DPF: {D1E7CBDA-E60E-4970-A01C-37301EF7BF98} (Measurement Service Client v.3.4) - http://ccon.futuremark.com/global/msc34.cab

This line shows up in Spyware Blaster as blocked, probably spyware from RealArcade.

[Edit] Dang. No-one had replied when I first started typing :/ [/Edit]

Your version of HJT is old. Please upgrade to v1.99 and post a new log.

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://www.home.iwon.com

The pop-ups will probably be as a result of an iWon hijack

Install & run Spybot Search & Destroy before posting the new HJT log.

Re: C:\WINDOWS\System32\CTsvcCDA.exe
CTsvcCDA.exe = Creative CD-ROM Access Service
Usually installed by Creative PlayCenter.
It is quite useless and can be disabled

Feel free to fix those two 016 DPF ActiveX entries :)

Thanks for the help everyone; I've updated HJT to 1.99 and posted the latest log below. I updated Spybot and reran, I removed the couple of items that I had wondered about (futuremark was listed in my Control Panel Add/Remove Programs - don't know where that came from...). Installed Spyblaster also. At this point, I'm still using IWON as my home page, but I'll consider changing that shortly... Again, thanks for taking a look at this log! Stampede.
