If you're running Windows XP, insert your Windows XP CD ROM disk in the CD ROM drive. Click Start|Run, type in:

expand X:\i386\rundll32.ex_ c:\windows\rundll32.exe

in the Open box, (where "X:" is the letter of your CD ROM drive), and press [Enter]. When it's done, restart your computer

i found that i could open programs by picking any file and choosing open with whatever program i wanted to open. so i loaded cw shredder and ad aware and the new hijack via my pocket pc. i would have been screwed without it. ran cw first and it seemed to do nothin. ran ad aware and it seemes to be working now. it actually fixed everything. i took the liberty or runnin hi jack again. hopefully it will appear squeaky clean.
