Is my drive partitioned?

but if you are using windows XP then the drive is indeed partitioned for at least one partition.

Thanks I just installed this drive .Probably screwed up .How can I get rid of partition ,or should I? OS XP home

You need at least one partition - which you have.
It's the C: system partition ... your OK

Thanks It's just that i never saw the chart look separated like that on my old drive.It was one continuous line.

For a different view ... Look Here ..
Right click ... "My Computer" > Manage > Disc Management.
Careful - like 007 ... You have License to kill here.

Here's what multiple partitions and drives will look like ..
