Meaning a SmartTV or a blu Ray Player on your USB pin drive can you play an album that will play the song by track order and will not have a 2 second pause between each song when some sync into each other like on a Pink Floyd album or best example a live album where you wont hear a silent pause between each track. Because the devices i have now they pause between tracks and list the songs either by alphabetical or date/time order not by track order.

The best way to do that would be to rip/record it as one long track, rather than individual songs.

Sometimes the software that you use to play the songs will have options.

This is true, especially when creating a CD you can request it not have gaps between songs, but having said that if the song has a second two of silence then there is not much you can do.

Consider using MPTrim if you're compiling your own collection. It will remove silence at the start and end.

MP3 files support including the album name and track number in the metadata. If your MP3 files include that information check if your media player has the option to play a given album using the sequence of track numbers. If it does not support that, see if it supports using playlists.
