    Hello,
I am currently using Win7 Enterprise on my PC that was given to me by a computer guy. Since I am into office applications, going online and just common stuff other than entertainment purposes (I use my iPad for that), he decided that Enterprise edition would be a best fit for me. So I was trying to connect this desktop PC to my hubby's windows 7 Ultimate edition laptop and I am only able to create a HomeGroup but his is able to create and join. Could that be a different between the 2 versions of Windows? Does Enterprise edition only can create HomeGroups? Please guys I need help. If possible if I can just create a HomeGroup from my desktop PC then add my hubby's computer to this group then it would be ok.

Another thing is, how can I after creating a HomeGroup on my desktop PC then connect it with my Amazon FireTV device? I have this old Netgear router that I had configured to become a network adapter which other than being connected to our modem, should be able to connect to the FireTV device, it being on the same IP address. Is that possible, it being my router/wifi network adapter been configured through ddt.com site, that it would still be able to connect with my FireTV device?

Please do the following in each of those computers.

Download MGADiag and save it to your desktop.

Double-click on MGADiag.exe to launch the program.

    Click "Continue".

Ensure that the "Windows" tab is selected (it should be by default).

Click the "Copy" button, the leave the report window open.

Paste the report back here in your next reply.

Thanks for submitting the MGADiag log.

I've requested a qualified person to examine it for any issues, so be patient.

We only see the report for one of those computers but it's bad news on that one. It's using a Volume MAK License which is meant for corporations and cannot be transferred to end users therefore this is a violation of the MS EULA (End User License Agreement). Since the license is invalid for this type of personal use we cannot help any further with this system unless you purchase a retail copy of Windows 7 and reinstall Windows.

    Here's an explanation:

Upon further investigation based on the information in your profile and the photo you uploaded, which I have to remove BTW as it must be a photo of you, not advertising for your business, it appears that you may be involved in some sort of business but the usage you described appeared to be all personal. Is the license you're using provided by the organization that you work for?

For 1 I had no clue it was that kind of license and for 2, I got it from a computer guy who builds computer so I had no clue it was MKA or whatever license you were talking about. I have never heard of such license. And no this license has nothing to do with a business. If you can't solve it I will just contact my computer guy. Another thing, I am not trying to promote my business. If that bothers you so much I will just remove my picture. you have a picture of your cute dog, so I'll just put up a picture of a beach since I love beaches and I'm from FL.

Also, I wasn't able to get answer to a previous thread if you are unable to solve the current one:

I think you misunderstood. Cookiegal has a photo of her cute dog as her Avatar. Her (profile) photo is of her. :)
