is there a website where you can build and get a free website???

    First try your ISP on their homepage. Most ISPs provide a small amount of webspace and a basic editor

    Try Yahoo Geocities. They provide a limited amount of free space, and web page editing is not difficult.

    But I can remember just one more at present.

    http://www.freeservers.com

    It also lets you host your own domains on their servers. So you can have http://www.yourdomain.com and host it for free. Tripod and Geocities don't have that facility.

    If you run out of space, sign up for one more account and link it to the original web-site. Make the new account load up the main page if the original account.

    You can also see http://www.freewebhosts.com

    Throw a serach at google and it will give you lots of them.
