I was just wondering this as ive heard many not so good things about my video card. (I was given this card and don't have the funds to upgrade right now) Such as there are bottle necks and such that slow it down. Is there any methods I could optimise it to run better? Possibly overclock(But I wana strive for safer methods)

Well you can make sure u have the latest drivers and directx Version, but thats the only thing that will affect the card itself without overclocking.

However the following will all have an affect on your system in general, which will also help:-

    remove-delete unneeded programs
stop programs from loading on bootup that u dont need (look at msconfig)
    clear temp files
    defrag drive(s)
    scan for adware/viruses

then check how your system runs after. Then you may wish to look at overclocking, but without additional cooling u are maybe talking about a few percent increase in speed.
