I just got an email from my SIL saying that the last three emails I sent contain an attachment called spider.exe

I have not been sending her emails...Norton Antivirus hasn't notified me of any virus'...any suggestions?

If this is a virus, what will it do and how do I get rid of it?

spider.exe is a game that comes with your PC.

Start -> Programs -> Games -> Spider Solitaire

Not sure why it is attaching the spider.exe to your e-mails.

    Do this in order:

    1) Open Internet Explorer -> Tools -> Internet Options -> delete cookies, delete files (select off-line content), clear history. Then click ok and exit Internet Explorer.

    2) Read http://tomcoyote.org/SPYBOT/index1.html then download and run SpyBot.

    3) Update and run your Anti-Virus program (NAV or MacAfee), if you don't have an Anti-Virus program installed on your PC use one of the free ones here:

    or
