Hi, I keep getting this icon on my desktop after opening some e mails, its like a windows icon with a "~" above. is this a virus? I use webroot's " window washer" & after runing, the icon disapears but soon returns.
if I go to- find files , & type in "~" I get EVERYTHING on my computer!
Do I have a problem here? ( I have no apparent problems with the operation)

it's due to one of the recent windoze updates that puts the backups to your address book on the desktop instead of where it's supposed to be. Don't worry about it cos uncle bill has promised to fix it in the next service pack for windoze XP

    Just ignore it
