Lately, whenever I try logging into my outlook account to access E-Mail, a message appears stating the account needs verification.
Because it looked real enough (..and I should know better at my advanced age !) I allowed a Code to be sent to my Mobile phone.
The code was entered on the site, however got suspicious when the Password was highlighted.
I then thought someone's trying to get me to change it.
Furthermore, the message only appears on my home Computer and not the Library where I do my printing.

Does this sound like a Scam ?. How can I get rid of the Message ?.
If the message was genuine, surely it would appear on any Computer used to access Outlook.

outlook.com often asks for verification of account - and sending a code to a mobile is the best way to do this
    so thats quite normal activity
outlook.com will do this if it detects Abnormal behavior on the account or sometimes just randonly on sites if not done for a while

not sure what you mean exactly - was the password visible ?
    not seen that before
    whats the message
still asking to verify the account ?

once you have verified the account - normally it just works from then on for a while ?

Yes, the Password was visible and the Account has to be verified every time I log in.
The Message is always the same.

The Message doesn't appear on Library Computers, only the home one.

    What could be happening ?.
