    Hello,

Have an issue I haven't been able to find an answer to yet. I think I may have a virus that is preventing me from being able to access some of my externals. I have one external drive that has no issues at all, but my card reader won't let me open it's files at all, and the external drive my wife uses for her laptop is having the same issues.

Anyway, I believe it's a virus because when I try to access the reader I get the message "Windows cannot find 'SySTEm.EXE'... Just like that, with the odd capitalizations. When I try my wife's drive it says "K:sYstEM.exe The NTVDM CPU has incountered an illegal instruction. CS:0e1d IP:0125 OP:63 00 2d 00 66 Choose 'Close' to terminated the application.

I did recently reinstall windows but didn't do anything to these externals, so thinking that where the problem might be.

Here is my HiJack This log:

I would really appreciate any assistance you can give. I have a cousin who is clamoring for her baby's pictures that I cannot access.

    Thanks,
    Bil

Wow, 81 views and not a single reply in almost a week? Don't tell me I've stumped you guys.

Anyway, here's a bump to hopefully get my issue back into the rotation.
