    Hi,

One of application downloads the files (.doc, .ppt, .pdf) from the server onto the Temporary Internet Files folder. The files that get downloaded are huge in number.

We have scheduled the "cleanmgr.exe" to run peroidcially to delete the downloaded files from the Temporary Internet Files folder. It works fine, but when we look at the size of the folder it still shows in GBs....

Is it a known issue with Cleanmgr????

    Thanks
    Diws

Cleanmgr needs to be run by each user, as each user's temp files are stored in seperate directories. By scheduling it, you are using the default directory, which most likely contains no temp files at all.
