somehow my fonts have changed to italic. winamp, AOL, IE, Ad-Aware, etc. all show in italics now(even the "Ads by Google on this site). i have no idea how it happened. i cleaned the cache, tried a system restore, checked the font settings (internet options>fonts), searched the boards here, and i'm out of ideas.

anyone know how i can fix this annoyance?

    i'm running WindowsMe btw....

    You can

Start>Run>Control Panel and select Internet Options.

In that window, select Fonts (s/b bottom row). See what is selected on the left panel.
You can select any font there and that will be your web pages font.

Also in the Internet Options, select Accessability and see what options are ticked.
