I'm hoping someone has experience with the Windows Script Host as it pertains to iTunes. First the basics:

    Windows Vista SP2
Sony laptop 4GB RM, 2 hard drive
(Itunes files are on external WD drive)
At some point, scripts to control and manipulate iTunes have stopped working. Also, an additional program, Beatunes, also does not function as it should. We have determined this is an issue with the itunes automation server not being properly installed.

I have done various things, including using Revo Uninstaller to blow away anything related to iTunes and reinstall, with no success.

Hoping someone out there can help as there are some great scripts for managing the iTunes library and playlists.
