Hi, whenever I try to install iTunes, I get an error pop up saying that it could not open the key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\SharedDlls". I tried to look for it in the registry but I dont have it at all!!! What should I do?

    Solution
1.Install iTunes 7.0.2 or later while logged into a user account with administrator privileges.

2.If the issue persists with iTunes 7.0.2 or later , it is possible you are installing iTunes with an administrator user account different than the one used in previous installations of iTunes. If this is the case and you still have the original administrator user account on the computer, try installing from this original administrator user account.
