Since having my new Dell laptop, my iTunes media folder keeps defaulting to the C: drive rather that the location I keep my music files in which is an external drive.

The C: drive on my laptop is an SSD of 103Gb and not large enough to store all of my music files.

I have changed the location of iTunes Media through Edit-Preferences-Advanced Preferences but it keeps defaulting back to the C: drive.

Ever since I had this laptop set-up my Currys, it has been plagued with issues where it hasn't been set-up correctly, many of which have now been resolved.

If someone can help with this issue, I will be very grateful.

Honestly, I haven't a clue. I have never used iTunes.

I use VLC to listen to any music in Windows, linux and android. My music is stored as mp3 files on micro sd cards, backed up on USB sticks and on 4 mp3 players that we own.

I've uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled it. Everything seems to be working ok now. :)
