earlier i found that i had some viri on my comp,so i got rid of.updated.etc... etc...

even here, i had to click "allow blocked content", before i could even type
also i visited microsoft updates page and this is what comes up

i have java enabled and enabled the active controls that the information bar help section tells me to have.
    and still something's wrong.
while it says java is enabled, i went to a page to test and see if it was,and it said no.but i got the information bar, below adress url, poppin up on every page.

also, instead of seeing a lock at bottom right of pages, it just says "my computer"

one more thing, i just got the 2 most recent updates from ms b4 all this happened

Please do this. Click here: http://www.thespykiller.co.uk/files/hijackthis_sfx.exe
    to download Hijack This.

It’s very important that you save it to its own folder on your hard drive, such as program files (not temporary files or the desktop), so that it can create proper back-ups and be able to restore them if necessary.

If you have anything unchecked in msconfig go to run – start – type msconfig and put a check beside every entry so that it all starts up.

Close all open windows and open Hijack This. Click “Scan”. When the scan is finished (it only takes a second), the scan button will change to “Save Log”. Click on “Save Log” and then save it to NotePad. Click on “Edit” – “Select all” – “copy” and then “paste” into the thread.

DO NOT FIX ANYTHING YET, most items that appear in the log are harmless or even needed.

It would also be helpful if you could provide links to the other threads where you're received help so I can see what's been suggested and tried.

That's fine, then we'll take a look at your Hijack This log.
