i'm having a problem loading a java applet on one particular site. the chat client loads in the java lite version but just doesn't come up when i try and load the full java version. the message at the bottom of the grey box says that the applet is initialized but nothing comes up after that. it used to work perfectly till a few days ago and now i can't figure out what's gone wrong.

i'm using IE5.5 set at medium security and as far as i know java applets on other sites are loading properly (windowsupdate etc).
tried repairing IE and resetting the security levels but that doesn't seem to be working either. the site isn't experiencing any problems as far as i can tell cos i can loadup the same full java client when using netscape. i've also checked the objects and none are damaged though two are *unplugged*.

anyone got any ideas? the problem is bugging the hell out of me...would really like to fix this thing.

    thank you!

Once and awhile the virtual machine part of IE has problems and reloading 3802 sometimes solves it. Worth a shot.
Here is the Link for MS 3802 virtual machine.
