I would like to view the Java applets that the Chicago Board of Trade uses for their live book quotes.
They fail to load on my machine, however. I have the correct version of Java run time installed. Other Java applications (such as TFC commodity charts) work fine. I think I have narrowed the problem to the fact that they probably use tracking software to see how many are using the live book. I think some anti spy-ware that I have is blocking it. I don't know this for sure, just guessing. I have ad-aware pro, spyware blaster, trend micro internet security, ScanSpyware, and microsoft anti-spyware installed. I have had (now uninstalled) spybot s&d. windows Xp sp2 has the windows firewall disabled, because I have the trend micro firewall.
I don't expect an immediate solution, but would appreciate any guidance toward tracking this down.
I have an AMD Athlon 64 3200+ with 1gig ram. The XP is home ed.
