I am using AVG 6.0 (free version). It keeps reporting that I have one infected file, which is infected with a virus identified as "Java/ByteVerify". The AVG log entry for this virus is:

    C:\Documents and Settings\Randy Grove\Application Data\SUN\JAVA\Deployment\CACHE\JAVAPI\V1.0\JAR\loaderadv74.jar-170b188d-784947b3.zip:\Counter.cla Virus identified Java/ByteVerify

The program does not seem to automatically quarantine or remove this virus and for the life of me, I cannot figure out how to do so manually.

    Can anyone tell me:

    1) whether this truly is a virus?
    2) if 1) is yes, how to remove it?
