    Hi all,

I have created a very small software just for my practice. Now I need to give that to others to use it. You know I can't give the JAVA file and the CLASS file to a person who has no idea about programming, so I need to know is there is anyway I can let them to install it? Then rather than opening the file using CMD, they can double click on the icon and open it. Please help..

If you want to distribute it, you need to put it in a form that people can use. Make an installer.

    Hi Elvandil,

My JAVA knowledge is not that much high, because I started JAVA 1 and 1/2 months ago, so I don't know how to create an installer. Is there are any INSTALLER software, which will suite with my needs?

If you are willing to learn its scripting system the free NSIS can make you a decent if basic installer.
It can put the files and shortcuts where you need them, write relevant information (including an entry in add/remove programs) to the registry, and automatically create an uninstaller.
