I am trying to run some programs in Java (using TextPad) and when I try to run them, the thing that comes up in DOS says:

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: [program name]
    Press any key to continue

I read some things about that error on other websites but couldn't even understand what they were talking about. Can anyone help me?
