I installed the latest version of Java to run one of my programs and everything seemed fine until a few days ago and now I am starting to run into sites that say "Please enable Javascript in order for this page to work etc"

Then I do some googling on the subject and it tells me to check everything undet Internet Options and Security, to make sure Java is enabled. Everywhere I'm supposed to check I do and everything is enabled. What am I doing wrong?

I am running Windows Vista Home Premium. Also, and I'm not sure about this, I may have a Virus floating around somewhere, so I know that may have something to do with it. I'm working on that!

Also...When I open up IE7 it doesn't go to my designated home page, it goes to that runonce thing. Also a virus?

Java and javascript have nothing to do with one another. Check your Internet Options, spyware scanners, anti-virus, etc. to be sure that javascript has not been disabled.
