i am haveing trouble with a game site that i go to. i was told that the problem was the java that i was using the new java dosent work well with this site. i was told to get jre 1.5 (old version) and told to delete all java and load 1.5. can anyone tell me where i can get jer1.5 thanks for any help jim

here is a site to download the new java. read which windows it works with . use your add/remove program to uninstall the old java , RESTART , download & install the new.

There wasn't really a version 1.5. Around that time, they changed the numbering system and went from 1.4 to 5.0, but many people referred to the new 5.0 as version 1.5, so this is probably the one you need:
