A common browser extension is a toolbar button for toggling JavaScript.
I'm aware of only one browser (K-Meleon) that includes this feature.

I just placed a fairly complex order with Amazon for several computer
components. All buttons and drop-down menus worked perfectly. Signed
in and out with no problems. Immediately received an email confirming
my order. That's when I realized JavaScript was toggled off!

Amazon is the largest retailer in the world. It's hard to believe, but Amazon
must be configuring their site to work without JavaScript. I can't think of
another retail site that would function smoothly without JavaScript.
