Hi folks. When I click on a link in some web sites I can't open some pages. I notice that the links say 'Shortcut to javascript'. Does anyone know of a solution to this?

    for java go here
    http://www.bodo.com/javame.htm
    look for two things
    1) the following text displayed
YES!...IF YOU CAN READ THIS, YOU ARE JavaScript ENABLED!
    2) black box with wiggling text

to test what version and if installed on PC Jave runtime http://www.javatester.org/version.html

    reinstall java http://www.java.com/en/download/windows_automatic.jsp

With IE closed, Start, Run, REGSVR32 URLMON.DLL, OK.
    repeat for these files

    Shdocvw.dll
    Msjava.dll - {this may give an error - as its SUN now - so ignore if produces an error}
    Actxprxy.dll
    Oleaut32.dll
    Mshtml.dll
    Browseui.dll
    Shell32.dll
    vbscript.dll
    jscript.dll

Then open IE, Tools, Internet Options, Programs, Reset Web Settings button.

    see here
