I am having trouble with Star Wars- Jedi Academy.

When I install it, disk 1 goes in smoothly, but when i insert disk 2, it goes well until it gets to about 70%, then there is an error, and it looks something like this-

    Component transfer error

    Component: game 2
    file group: game 2 files
    File: D:/Gamedata/Gamedata/base/assets1.pk3
Error: Data error (Cyclic redundancy check

    I would appreciate any help.
Or, can someone send me assets1.pk3 by email?

Try cleaning the disk. If this is brand new and that does not work then take it back. It's not your drive since disk one completes fine. I have seen this before a couple of times and both times it was a case of bad media(returned for different copy).
