Joining the power of 2 video cards together?

Hello, this may be a stupid question but i gotta ask anyway

Say, i have 2 video cards. Is it possible i can somehow use them both at once?

uhhhhh. Well. No. But there is such a thing as a... I believe its called an SLI card.
Dual graphics cards.

Nvidia has come up with SLI configuration. You have to buy a MB that is SLI ready (2 PCI slots) and 2 nvidia SLI capable video cards. The lowest SLI model is the 6600 I believe.

You can also simply use two video cards to drive two screens...

I have a board with SLI support, but I'm more interested in dual monitors, that's what this system has. :)

just if you curious i asked this question because my computer has a very out of date video card and i just thought since i have a spare video card (even more outdated) that maybe i could have em both connected on the computer and somehow use them as one

hehe guess that wont work then :D
