The below line is in the footer of a site I built. I would like to add an image as well and set size to 20x20

echo '<a href="mailto:[email protected]?subject=Web Desigh">by Rockin R Technologies</a>';

I have uploaded the image to the below file location on the site

/images/r_white.png

let me know if you can help and if you need any more info???

Thanks

Hi BTex!
Just change
PHP:
echo '<a href="mailto:[email protected]?subject=Web Desigh">by Rockin R Technologies</a>';
to read
PHP:
echo '<a href="mailto:[email protected]?subject=Web Desigh"><img src="/images/r_white.png" width="20px" height="20px" alt="r_white.png" > by Rockin R Technologies</a>';
...it's that simple:)

Just as a post-reply (excuse the unintentional pun) tip, you might want to vertically align your small image with the text?
simply add
HTML:
vertical-align="middle"
after the alt tag but before the > close character.
Where "middle" can be changed to "top" or "bottom" ...:)
W3schools is a website aimed at beginners and old hands, alike - and well worth a look-see...:)

Sorry, my bad - try this - put the following in your html head section
HTML:
<style>
img.top {vertical-align:text-top;}
img.bottom {vertical-align:text-bottom;}
img.middle {vertical-align:text-middle;}
</style>
and change your html line thus
HTML:
echo '<a href="mailto:[email protected]?subject=Web Desigh"> by Rockin R Technologies <img class="top" src="./images/r_white.png" width="18px" height="20px" alt="r_white.png"></a>';
I omitted a . in the relative url for the image and completely blew the alignment thingy:eek: it can only be effective using a css stylesheet format - not the inline styling I improvised.:eek::eek:
