Not sure if this is related to last W10 update (i.e. I have read that this update had problems) . Over the past 2-3 days the following problems are occurring:

    1) when I am looking at/reading a screen on net (google chrome) the screen (without notice) goes back to the previous screen.
    2) when I am playing music the song will revert to a previous song half way through the song being played.
3)when I am making changes to a file in Windows Explorer it reverts to previous page meaning I have to start rena

    4) best example just happened as i was preparing this post. without notice it returned to the previous page.

    Extremely frustrating..any help appreciated.

You may have a misbehaving Backspace key, can you try a different keyboard or is it a laptop ?

Desktop PC. This predominantly happens when I am using mouse although it does happen when I am typing on keyboard. Could it be the Mouse or possibly even to do with the Graphics Card?

Has the problem appeared when you are disconnected from the net? No Ethernet and No WiFi?

It's not the graphics card. Try another keyboard to test.

If the mouse and/or keyboard are wireless have you tried new batteries ?

Turned out to be the mouse that was faulty.

    All good now.

    Many thanks for your advice/help.
