When I try to click on an icon on my desktop, the icon jumps. Can this be a virus? I am running Norton 2001 and it is not dectecting a virus. If this is a virus, how can I find it and then fix it?

It sounds like the Magistr virus, and Norton should have detected it, and have put it in Quarantaine, if properly updated. It has done so several times on my machine.

First have your computer scanned on line at Trend Micro HouseCall

Afterwards, if Magistr is detected, run http://www.wilders.org/HTMLobj-746/Antimagistr.zip

    Good luck,
