    I use AOL and Windows xp.
    Periodically, when I go to a web site, meaningless garbage fills part or all of the screen. Yhe only to resolve the problem is to log off that site and go to AOL Information and Utilities and reduce the cache to zero. That eliminates the problem for a while but the problem keeps returning and I must repeat the
    the soltion. AOL was of no help.
