As I've already used a lot of Flrman time :eek:

Is one browser particularly safer than another, i.e. I've been noticing some people recommend firefox?

Any recommendations on how I can really crank up the security on my computer?

Many thanks

I use Mozilla 1.7.12, which is actually a suite of three parts. Really neat, at least for what I like to do while browsing. Below is a list of my security programs, some free and some not. Updating and running, when necessary, weekly has kept my system problem free. "Knock Wood!" {redoak}

ZoneLabs free firewall
AVG anti-virus
Ad-Aware SE
Xoftspy
Microsoft AntiSpyware
Spybot S and D
SpywareGuard
SpywareBlaster
EWIDO- extended trial version
CWShredder
Bazooka

Note: ‘Xoftspy’ was once considered a ‘rouge’ but recently has been given a ‘clean bill of health.’

Thanks guys, I'm slowly putting on all the suggested security measures, just wish I hadn't wasted a whole lot of money buying "brand names" when I could get it free :p
