This is my second time posting; looking for answers for a few bugs, but as soon as I enter my post, another site pops up (Just Answer, I think is the name). Are these people connected with you?

Sorry, I've never heard of them. If it's popping up on it's own, you could have spyware. Might be worth posting in the Security forum.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I'll scan my system again, but meanwhile They do pop up, asking for credit cards and using the lines from my tech guy post. If I can't correct it with a spyware scan, i don't know how I'll be able to post here. And I'll put it in the Safety forum.

Post a hijackthis log in the Malware forum
    http://forums.techguy.org/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=54

    • Save HJTInstall.exe to your desktop.
    • Doubleclick on the HJTInstall.exe icon on your desktop.
    • By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis .
    • Click on Install.
    • It will create a HijackThis icon on the desktop.
    • Once installed, it will launch Hijackthis.
    • Click on the Do a system scan and save a logfile button. It will scan and the log should open in notepad.
    • Click on "Edit > Select All" then click on "Edit > Copy" to copy the entire contents of the log.
    • Come back here to this thread and Paste the log in your next reply.
    • DO NOT have Hijackthis fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.

Thanks, cybertech! But do you really want him to reply back to this thread? (Maybe it should be moved to HJT?) :)
