Hey guys, Norton found a trojan earlier today so I've been spending the past 4 - 5 hours cleaning up my PC. I fully updated Norton and it found the virus.. Norton called it 'download.trojacn' and the actual virus was "counter.exe" and it was located in c:\counter.cab

I turned off system restore and rebooted in safe mode. Norton said it was deleted but once I was in safe mode, I actually deleted it by going to my c:\ drive and deleting the entire counter.cab file. I also deleted all my temp. internet files (off line content as well) and all the files in my temp folders.

I ran Norton again and it picked up nothing. Just to be safe, I ran the Housecall virus scan at http://housecall.trendmicro.com and it didn't pick up anything either.

To take care of any spyware / adware, I ran up-to-date versions of AdAware, Microsoft Anti-Spyware Beta, and Spybot (in that order). AdAware picked up some things (nothing labeled 'critical' however), the Microsoft program didn't find anything, and Spybot found a few things.

Anyway, after all that was done, I rebooted and ran Hijack This without any programs running (other than stuff in the system tray). I'd appreciate if someone could take a look at the log and let me know how I'm doing. Thanks for any and all help :) (y)

Got to Add/Remove programs and uninstall any of these that are there:

    Viewpoint Manager
    Viewpoint Toolbar
    Viewpoint Media Player

Other than ViewPoint your log is clean.
