If you are using Kazaa then you prabably have spyware infesting your system. Go to the following site, download Startup List and post the results back here:

Did you run Startup List at the site I posted? Because if you are running Kazaa I can almost guarantee that there is spyware in your system. If you ran Startup List can you please post it here so we can see if there is anything bad in your system?

After you run Startup List you can post it here simply by copy and pasting it here where you type your message.

If I were you, I'd dump kazaa and download Winmx ...

Yes Kath- thx for the reminder. If you clean out spyware but keep Kazaa. it will reload spyware. The other alternative is Kazaalite. I like WinMX but lately it seems as if it has a smaller return on searches. I get a list of 200 results with only 2 users online. WinMX shoud list only people online, as huge lists of people offline are not helpful and only confuse the list.

Then maybe I search for weird and freaky stuff, not mainstream tunes!

But I atill recommend Kazaalite- it has a much better search result record.

Rob... let me ask you this. The version of kazaa that you're using, is it the ONLY install of kazaa you've done or used?

Before you download anything else and complicate the issue, can you please post the startup list?
