I'm running Ubuntu 6.0.6 LTS. Until now I haven't had any problems burning audio or data cds. Now all of a sudden i can't burn any data cds. i always get errors or it doesn't recognize that I've got medial loaded. So I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here. before, I burned cds like crazy using kb3, now it never works. The only thing I can figure that'sdifferent is taht I've installed an update or two. Any ideas?

Have you tried with several different CDs in case the CDs are bad?
Are you sure your machine sees your CD drive?

What error message do you get from k3b?

Before I parse your error message, can you tell me specifically what updates you installed?

Thanks for replying. To tell you what updates I've applied, I need to locate the logs that will tell me. Can you explain where I need to go to find that info? It would be much appreciated.
