Keboard freezes computer

    my keyboard freezes my computer every time i press a key its really buging me please help

    What keyboard are you using, or any details you can give us.

    What happens exactly, the PC freezes up completly and you must reboot?

    Any further details much appreciated.

    i'm using a standard ps/2 keyboard with no drivers and all that happens is i can't use my mouse or keyboard everything els works fine but i have to reboot because my keyboard or mouse don't work

    The two aren't backwards are they? You might try double checking the Mouse isn't in the Keyboard port and vice versa.

    Try working with just one, and then the other.

    If one works by itself and the other doesn't, I'd say there is your problem. Otherwise I would start to lean towards Windows, or maybe even a bad mobo.

    Did you make any changes before this started happening?
