Every day I lose my internet connection and have to restart. When I restart its ok again. When I troubleshoot I get a message that says

The Intel(R) 82579LM Gigabit Network Connection adapter is experiencing driver or hardware related problems.

I tried uninstalling it and restarting but still the same.

Did you try to Update the driver? ( right click on driver, choose Update )

THIS is the most current driver software for that ethernet device for Windows 10 64-bit.

Download and save the PROWinx64.exe file, then close all open windows, then double-click the saved file to start the update process.

Well, you have tried the default MS driver and the manufacturer's driver. So it must be a hardware problem.

I agree that it seems to be a intermittent hardware issue. I would suggest one of these:

If your computer has a USB 3.0 port then get the 2nd one (the one with the blue inside) otherwise you will need to get the 1st one.

Plug it into a USB port and connect an ethernet cable to the ethernet port.
