    Hello,

I have a MacBook OS X v10.6.2 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo. I have noticed a recent issue with my airport. The connection gets blocked every 3 minutes. I turn the airport on and off and it refreshes in a minute and i am able to surf the internet for another 3-5 minutes. I feel like there is a program that is jamming my airport. How can i pinpoint the issue?

    Thanks

    Hi green_fairy:

OK, was this an upgrade to Snow Leopard, or a new system? iMac, MacBook?

Have you tried other browsers (Firefox, Chrome) and if so I assume same connectivity issue?

I'd start by zapping the PRAM:

    1. Shut down the computer.

    2. Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.

    3. Turn on the computer.

    4. Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.

    5. Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.

    6. Release the keys. The Mac will boot now. See if the problem persists.

    Hope that helps! :)
