key board

    when typing on my key board certain keys produce a diffrent symbol from the one on the key .is there a diffrent setting or somthing i can change to coorect this.

    What keys produce what? What version of Windows are you running?

    You could go to Control Panel and check the Keyboard, Regional, and Language settings to make sure they are correct.

    A faulty keyboard can do this too. A quick check would be to try the keyboard on another computer, or another keyboard on your computer.

    @ produces inverted comas and vice versa.the problem is only with sevral keys,has been working fine until i rebboted my pc.

    im using windows xp.cant find regional in keyboard ,only have speed,hardware and driver.

    Regional and Language Settings are not in Keyboard, its a seperate item in Control Panel. Under Regional, click Languages, and Details. Should list the installed kyeboard layouts.

    I'm still thinking it'd be easier to test the kwyboard on another computer.
