Window cleaning solution should not come near any keyboard.

It has probably done irrepairable damage by now, your remaining hope would be to thoroughly wash it in warm water and let it dry thoroughly (days rather than hours) and see if it has removed the corrosive residue.

If not, bin it and buy another.

    Thanks kiwiguy for the reply.

I just removed the keys around the left and right carets and cleaned them. Now the caret problem is solved. However the left shift key still types a comma and the enter key also types a comma.

As I said when I first tried this keyboard it didn't work at all. Now a few days later it is much better. I'm still holding out hope for a full recovery.

However I'm also watching Ebay for a replacement...

    - Do you think I'm better off putting the whole thing in warm water and waiting for days - or do you think it might come back to life if I just wait long enough????

PS. I can still smell window cleaner on the keys.
