    Hello all,

I have a Gateway W730-K8X laptop. It starts up fine.

Using the internal I can get into the BIOS with the keyboard, and the keyboard works fine there. When Windows XP boots up, the mouse works fine, I can open/close programs, etc. However, as soon as I press a key on the keyboard, any key at all, the whole system freezes. Nothing happens at all.

Using a USB Keyboard, the computer works just fine.

Any ideas? I've never seen anything like this before ever.
