    I have the following: Asus G74Sx ROG, 12Gb, I7Core, Nvidia3Gb GTX 560, Win8, 17"
I also have a problem with this awesome system and hope someone can help me out wiht it. The FN+F3 turn KB bklt on and off, while the FN+F4 dim or brighten key lighting. Both of these have stopped working for no apparent reason. When the sys is asleep and I press the SpaceBar to awaken it the KB is lit, but does not respond to brightness keystrokes at all, and it does not respond to the OnOff keystrokes either. I've checked everything I can think of but nothing seems to be wrong with the sys or the hardware. Lights work so it's not that the light LED is out, but I can't figure out why it won't work. It's driving me nuts! I am an author and the kb being backlit was a factor in choosing the machine, along with the gaming aspect of course, but I need the light since I write in total darkness - appreciate any help on this matter!
    Thank you in advance.
