keyboard malfunction

    2 alphabets on a single keystroke....like when I strike "R", "RO" appears on screen and like "." comes with "v", "4" with "9"....how to fix???..Need help...

    Probably a faulty keyboard and fixed by getting a new one. I'd try the keyboard on another computer to confirm.

    And that's why we ask posters to run the System Information Utility or provide as much information as possible.

    Advice is still pretty much the same, you need a new keyboard, you can order them online for most laptops.

    If the keyboard has failed, then it needs to be replaced.

    I guess you could also use an external keyboard if you wanted too or the onscreen keyboard.
