Keyboard unresponsive on HP Pavillion laptop. I have tried restarting, the uninstalling method, searching for driver updates and it remains unavailable. Please help.

Hello Jenny1999,

Would I be correct in that you are able to use a USB keyboard with the notebook.

The keypad ribbon may have become detached or is damaged, with the notebook turned off, press the power on button and immediately press/tap the Esc key repeatedly to see if you are able to open the Startup Menu.

If the above does not get you into the Start Menu, let us know the exact model name or number of the notebook so we do some research.
