Hello ... What and where should i look to fix this problem i am having .... I just bought a new keyboard
its a logitech internet navigator ... Not all the function is working is there a way to find out whether
this is a windows xp problem or something else ??? Now the software that i download is listed in my taskbar
where all my running programs are at the bottom right corner and i assume its running but once i try to
click that icon it disapears ...More or less i can't get the program to show up or start up whichever
so that i can try to setup the functions.. Now i did try this keyboard on a different computer and it works
fine but the other computer is running windows 2000 though ... So if anybody can provide any suggestion it
would be most thankful ... Thanks

    Hi,

    Welcome to TSG.

Is your particular keyboard shown in Device Manager ? Are there any red / yellow ? or ! signs indicating an error ? If you click to expand the keyboards entry in Device Manager - do you perhaps still have a listing there of a previous k/board as well ? If this k/board has a usb connector - have you tried a different usb socket on your pc ?

You could try the usb as an alternative - though this sounds to me like your k/board driver is not installed correctly. I looked on:

    http://www.google.com

To see what drivers you actually get with your particular keyboard but I still don't know. Are they just generic MS drivers or something more specialised - given the extra features your k/b offers.

I too have an internet k/b ( different brand ) with CD control keys, and hot keys for email etc - but to use them fully, the default MS drivers were inadequate.
