I am trying to get a keyboard working on a tosh. L505 laptop working. The old one wore out, so I ordered a new one and installed it. The problem is that it only works for the initial password screen, once you get past that it just clicks and nothing happens. This unit is my cousins and she has been using the on screen keyboard. Do I need to disable this? Thanks

Just tried it on my Toshiba. They both work when the onscreen one is activated.
